Cancer Cards was founded in 2008 by Tammy Maxey.  While still in college, Tammy lost her beloved father to prostate cancer.   More recently, her mother in law was diagnosed with breast cancer.  Frustrated when she was unable to find a breast cancer card for her mother in law, and disheartened at the lack of suitable cancer get well cards, she formed her own company.  Tammy was inspired to include cancer cards for children by Eric William Wright (3/28/78 to 2/5/91) whose life was cut short by this terrible disease. Cancer Cards line of kid cancer cards are dedicated to Eric, who is survived by his beloved parents William and Norma Wright and his two sisters Kate and Emily. Cancer Cards is a collaborative effort of writers, photographers and artists, many whose lives have been impacted by cancer.  Cancer Cards seeks to positively impact the lives of those living with cancer.  Cancer Cards offers a variety of greeting cards for cancer patients inluding funny cancer cards, spiritual, traditional, as well as cancer cards for children.  Tammy values your input and can be reached at cancercards@comcast.net with questions, concerns, suggestions or comments.
